DisplayPort 2.1 Transmitter Compliance Solution

Tektronix TekExpress DP2.1 is a single button solution for the testing of UHBR10, UHBR13.5, and UHBR20 for DP2.1 Source devices. The Tektronix solution supports Enhanced DP, mDP, and Type-C connectors. Use the TekExpress DP2.1 solution to test and validate the physical electrical layer requirement of the DP source.

DisplayPort 1.4a Transmitter Compliance Solution

Engineers designing DisplayPort silicon for computer and embedded systems or validating the physical layer compliance of DisplayPort devices need comprehensive solutions.

With Tektronix oscilloscopes and software analysis tools such as DPOJET and SDLA, designers can characterize DisplayPort 1.4 source devices operating at HBR3 (8.1 Gbps). Our DP1.4 solution performs all transmitter testing including compliance in under 7 hours at HBR2 (5.4 Gbps) and 11 hours at HBR3.

HDMI Transmitter and eARC Compliance Solution 

With each successive generation, HDMI source developers face faster data rates and new test challenges. HDMI 2.1 increases data rates up to 48 Gbps over 4 lanes, expanding test cases and test times. Differential, eye diagram and single-ended measurements require high signal integrity with the lowest noise to accurately measure device performance.  Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) is a new feature which simplifies audio connectivity and supports the most advanced audio formats and highest audio quality.

With no connection changes or manual interventions required between tests, the Tektronix test solution provides simple set-up, ease of use, measurement accuracy and reduced test times for all HDMI Tx and eARC (Tx & Rx) measurements.

Embedded DisplayPort - eDP

Embedded DisplayPort (eDP) is a standard designed specifically for mobile and embedded displays. In contrast to other display protocols, eDP has reduced transmitter voltage swings and lower receiver sensitivity requirements, making it a great option for power-sensitive mobile applications. These and other low-power features supported by eDP introduce new test and debug challenges for both source and sink devices. The Tektronix eDP solution provides engineers with an easy and fast way to debug eDP Tx devices.
