APCO Project 25 (P25) Transmitter Testing and Analysis

Accelerate and Simplify Compliance Test and Analysis of P25 Transmitters operating over the Common Air Interface (CAI)

Whether you are testing a P25 mobile, portable radio transmitter, or a base station for Phase 1 or Phase 2, Tektronix provides P25 transmitter testing solutions to help you get the job done. Tektronix solutions give you a simple set-up of 28 TIA-102 measurements with pass/fail results so that you can pass performance and compliance tests accurately and quickly.

The Tektronix RSA5000B with Option 26 is a cost-effective, simple and complete TIA-102 phase 1 and phase 2 transmitter compliance test solution that accelerates test and analysis of your P25 device. It provides the measurement confidence and functionality you demand for everyday tasks and also gives you the dynamic range you need for your challenging ACPR P25 measurements. In addition, its unique trigger-capture-analyze capability helps you isolate signal anomalies on which other instruments can't even trigger.

The P25 solution is also available on Tektronix Vector Signal Analysis Software, SignalVu-PC-SVE (with option SV26) off-line and on the MDO4000B Mixed Domain Oscilloscope. RSA6000B and SPECMONB Real Time Spectrum Analyzers with Option 26 and MSO/DPO5000, DPO7000 and MSO/DPO70000 Digital Phosphor and Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes with Option SV26 are also supported. Upgrades for RSA5000A and SPECMON Real Time Spectrum Analyzers are also possible.

Check out the information below to learn more about how to test P25 transmitters with Tektronix RSA5000 so that you can pass performance and compliance tests quickly.

Description

SignalVu-PC

One user interface for RF and Vector Signal Analysis. Use with Tektronix Real-Time Spectrum Analyzers, USB Spectrum Analyzers, MDO4000B/C. The base version is free.

  • Benchtop performance. SignalVu-PC has nearly all of the same features found on Tektronix’ RSA5000 Series Real-Time Spectrum Analyzers -- and it runs with USB Spectrum Analyzers.

  • Signal analysis and visualization. SignalVu-PC's free base version has 17 signal analysis and real-time spectrum analysis, and paid add on options for including vector signal analysis, pulsed signal analysis, and commercial wireless signal analysis.

  • One user interface, many instruments. We created SignalVu-PC software from the RSA6000 and RSA5000 analyzers and made it run on a PC as a stand alone application. It now powers our USB spectrum analyzers, such as the RSA306. We also made it work on many of the mid-range and top performing oscilloscopes, where it is called SignalVu.

RSA306B

The RSA306B USB spectrum analyzer might be small but it packs a big punch. It’s loaded with features you’d expect from spectrum analyzers twice the size and twice the price. Perfect for everyday tasks.

RSA500A

Find offending transmitters and resolve network issues with the precise & accurate RSA503A and RSA507A USB Spectrum Analyzers, packed with features for your most common tasks out in the field.

RSA600A

Visualize and characterize your device or component with the precise and accurate RSA603A and RSA607A USB Spectrum Analyzers, packed with features to aid in wireless integration, EMI, and IoT projects.

RSA5000B

The RSA5000 Series benchtop mid-range spectrum analyzer combines the best-in-class RF performance with up to 165 MHz bandwidth and 6th Generation DPX® Technology. This provides the measurement confidence and functionality you demand for everyday tasks and gives you the dynamic range you expect for challenging spectrum analysis measurements.

MDO4000C

The most powerful mixed domain oscilloscope, the MDO4000 combines up to six instruments including a function generator and a built-in spectrum analyzer. Unlike any other instrument, it can synchronize RF, analog and digital channels – giving unprecedented insight into your design.
